Tyson Fury obliterates punch machine challenge with crazily high score as he remains in the gym ahea

Tyson Fury put his heavyweight power on display by smashing the punch machine challenge in his gym last week.

The WBC world champion registered a stunning score of 993 with an enormous left hook while in training.

Fury is currently staying in shape at his gym in Morecambe.

He's working with assistant coach Andy Lee because his main trainer SugarHill Steward is based in the USA.

When they start full camp, Steward will no doubt fly over to join Fury.

For the time being though, Lee is taking the reigns and he filmed the Gypsy King having a bit of fun after a session on Wednesday.

Lee posted a video of Fury stepping up to take on the punch machine challenge.

He hammered the punchball with a gigantic left hook and scored an incredible 993 points - the maximum score is 999.

As things stand, Fury's team remain locked in talks for a potential fight with Anthony Joshua before the end of this year.

AJ has now accepted all of the champion's terms for the bout.

If it comes to fruition, it would take place on December 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Joshua has agreed to a 60/40 percentage purse split in Fury's favour.

AJ has also accepted a rematch clause at a 50/50 percentage purse split for the second fight, which would only happen if he wins the first.

Fury's side intend to send over a contract soon, which will then be reviewed by Joshua's side and signed if it is acceptable to everyone.

The only major outstanding issue to be resolved is the TV broadcaster situation, with Fury holding deals with BT Sport (UK) and ESPN (USA), while AJ is tied to DAZN (worldwide).

Positive talks are ongoing for joint PPV broadcasts with all of the broadcasters working together.

Hopefully this can get over the line and the British blockbuster will materialise on December 3.
