He was brought up in the San Francisco area alongside his older brother Jason and sister.Stewie2K had initially found his obsession in gaming with Counter-Strike 1.6 that used to be played by his brother Jason.Being raised by Asian parents, Stewie2K was expected to either be a lawyer, doctor, or dentist. They also did not like the idea of him and his siblings indulging in video games. Nevertheless, this kind of upbringing and Stewie2K’s love for gaming began to cause the two to drift apart which eventually resulted in Stewie2K deciding to leave his home.Stewie2K was 17 years old when he moved to Los Angeles to be able to focus on building his gaming career.
